Microneedling/Dermapen

The Microneedling/Dermapen is a derma roller procedure where small needles are used to prick the skin. The purpose of the Microneedling/Dermapen treatment is to help your skin generate new collagen and skin tissue, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more toned skin.

The derma roller is a skin device that creates micro pathways on the skin, helping products you use to be absorbed and penetrate faster.

Another name for the derma roller treatment is Microneedling/Dermapen. The usage of derma roller helps give a boost to the production of collagen in the skin, freshening up the top layers of the skin. At the same time, it encourages the growth of fresh skin cells that can form new layers of tissues.

Microneedling/Dermapen is commonly used on the face and to treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores.

The Microneedling/Dermapen System

Microneedling/Dermapen is also known as a collagen induction therapy which uses a specific serum that is injected into the skin via a derma roller with micro-needles on it. The roller comes in different needle size (0.2mm – 2.5mm in diameter) and the usage of different needle size is chosen based on the patient’s skin condition.

With the fine pinpoint punctures created by the needling, the serum can penetrate deeper into your skin while also stimulating the regeneration of skin cells and increase the production of collagen.
